I'm in my second year pre-med, majoring in Neuroscience at The University of Texas in Dallas. I also attended the University of Georgia. Ever since high school, I have been running a business that provides private tutoring lessons. In that business, I began by working with high school students as they prepared for standardized tests like the SAT. The business then grew to include elementary school and junior high students as I got older. What I have found to be the most crucial part of tutoring is finding what level the student is on and working up from there. I strongly believe that everyone has the capability to do well in school as long as they are given the proper kind of guidance. I am comfortable tutoring all kinds of subjects, from Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, to Accounting and Religious Studies, but the fields where I have seen the most success are Math and English. I can tutor those subjects for standard high school homework and testing or for students who are getting ready to take college admission exams. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, taking part in slam poetry, and volunteering in the community. I hope to soon publish a novella that I have been writing.
